Detailed description of the data product¶

Also known as flatcor image in DES terminology. This product is the result of applying the DES flatcor pipeline to a set of DES Flat Frame Products (flat exposures). It contains the master flat dataset of a single CCD.

The main elements inside this product are:

Observation: Contains information about the telescope pointing (Telra, Teldec, HourAngle, ZenithDistance, Epoch), the observation night and date, and the optical air mass.
Saturate: Global saturation threshold valid for amplifiers A and B.
Filter: The DECam filter name (DECAM_g, DECAM_r, DECAM_i, DECAM_z or DECAM_Y).
CCDNumber: The DECam science CCD number (1 to 62).
DataStorage: Element that links to a FITS file containing the CCD master flat image dataset.
RunInformation: Information about the processing run (Project and RunNumber).
ProcessingSteps (optional): Information about the processing steps associated with the flatcor process.
