Detailed description of the data product¶

Also known as biascor image in DES terminology. This product is the result of applying the DES biascor pipeline to a set of DES Bias Frame Products (bias exposures). It contains the master bias dataset of a single CCD.

The main elements inside this product are:

Observation: Contains information about the telescope pointing (Telra, Teldec, HourAngle, ZenithDistance, Epoch), the observation night and date, and the optical air mass.
Saturate: Global saturation threshold valid for amplifiers A and B.
CCDNumber: The DECam science CCD number (1 to 62).
DataStorage: Element that links to a FITS file containing the CCD master bias image dataset.
RunInformation: Information about the processing run (Project and RunNumber).
ProcessingSteps (optional): Information about the processing steps associated with the biascor process.
