Detailed description of the data product

The EXT GaiaCatalog data product is intended to provide a container for the full Gaia catalog, not for distributing Gaia catalog data to processing functions (for the latter purpose the EXT GaiaCutout can be used).

Currently the following FITS definitions are defined to provide database tables for storing either real Gaia data or simulated Gaia data.
