The EXT GaiaCatalog data product is intended to provide a container for the full Gaia catalog, not for distributing Gaia catalog data
to processing functions (for the latter purpose the :ref:`EXTExtGaiaCutout` can be used).

Currently the following FITS definitions are defined to provide database tables for storing either real Gaia data or simulated Gaia data.
