Welcome to Guilaine Lagache’s web PAGE

I am a senior astronomer at the LAM (Laboratoire d’Astrophysique de Marseille).

I work in the “GECO” department (Galaxies, Etoiles et COsmologie) towards understanding the formation and evolution of galaxies in their large-scale structures of dark-matter, and in the context of the cosmological model.

I am involved in a number of scientific projects mostly linked to the observations from the mid-infrared to the millimeter wavelengths.

In the last ten years, I have been heavily involved in the Planck project.

I am now dedicated to two new projects: observing distant galaxies with the NIKA2 camera, and probing the early Universe and the reonisation era with CII intensity mapping (CONCERTO project).
