Detailed Description of the Data Product¶
This is the main galaxy catalog constructed for the spectroscopic galaxy clustering analyses. It contains galaxy properties selected from OU-SPE (spectroscopic) and OU-MER (photometric) measurements.
This catalog is stored in a FITS file. The second HDU is a binary table extension that contains metadata in the keywords and the catalog in the data table.
Metadata¶
The metadata stored in the Data element of the XML contains useful information about the survey coverage. Here is a brief summary of the metadata:
