Detailed Description of the Data Product¶
Data Product “Associations” from PF DET-CL AMICO. This data product contains the list of the membership associations of the (input catalogue) galaxies in the (output) detected clusters. This data product will only be produced by AMICO detection code.
Keywords¶
This fits file is expected to contain the following keywords in the data table HDU, characterizing the important parameters of the product:
DET_CODE: Name of the cluster detection algorithm (currently, AMICO is the only possible value)
MODEL_ID: an identifier of the cluster model used in the filtering procedure of the detectin
SNR_THR: the S/N threshold for extracting a cluster detection
MAX_NB: the maximum number of structures to which a galaxy can be associated
MIN_PROB: the minimum probability for the association to be saved in this catalog
MEMB_CODE: Name of the membership assignment code (here “AMICO”. May also be “PMEM” or “RS” if issued from RICH-CL)
Table¶
The detclMembers table is expected to contain the following columns, for each detected cluster:
OBJECT_ID : Galaxy identifier, as it appears in detclGalaxies (see Galaxy catalogue Input Product)
ID_CLUSTER: identifier of the associated detected cluster, as it appears out of detclAMICOClusters.
P_CLUSTER : probability (0 <= p <= 1) of the galaxy membership in cluster ID_CLUSTER
